How is an image matched to the right vehicle?
Via the VIN (vehicle identification number). Autaxo Studio either detects VINs via OCR from a photo of the registration document, or you pass them with the API call. The AI then automatically assigns all images to the correct vehicle record, even for bulk uploads of multiple vehicles at once.
How long does connecting my DMS take?
With the prebuilt interfaces (mobile.de, AutoScout24, Autaxo DMS): under 30 minutes of setup. With your own DMS via the REST API: typically 1 to 3 days of development effort on your side. We provide code examples in JavaScript, Python and PHP plus a Postman collection.
What happens if the API connection briefly goes down?
Autaxo Studio automatically queues uploads and retries with exponential backoff. Webhooks have a retry mechanism that runs for 24 hours. You won't lose any images, even if your DMS happens to be under maintenance.
